Complaints Process

All complaints, concerns or reports of possible ethics violations with respect to MTAM members are handled directly by the Executive Director, in confidence. MTAM Members adhere to nationally-accepted standards of practice and agree to a formal complaint and discipline policy when they register as members.

The MTAM is currently working with the Province of Manitoba to finalize details for the profession for a self-regulating Regulatory College operating under the Regulated Health Professions Act. As such, we have upgraded our Complaints & Discipline process to follow, in principle, to match the process required under the RHPA.

All communication is handled in a confidential manner by the Executive Director. The complaints process begins with a requirement for a written complaint to be filed with the Association. Please phone 204-927-7977 or email smolloy@mtam.mb.ca

I have a concern only, not a complaint.

If you have a concern about your RMT's professional practice, but do not want to make an official complaint, please email smolloy@mtam.mb.ca. Every communication is handled in a confidential manner by the Executive Director. We will assess the concern and decide the next steps that can be taken.
