Each year, there are a number of community organizations looking for RMT's to help them provide massage therapy for wellness days, post-event massage for sporting events, walks, runs, and a host of other great opportunities.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, earn education credits, reach potential new clients and for that great feeling you get when you give back! Check back often to see who needs your help...

Kildonan East Collegiate Staff Wellness Day

We are planning a staff wellness day on March 16th and we were wondering if you would have any volunteers who would come and apply skills on our staff?  We are hoping to keep our costs low, but please let me know if it's not possible for free. We may be able to provide an honorarium. It would be for a small group for our staff wellness day. We have a whole bunch of activities going on and this would be one. We could limit the numbers to anything. It would be for an hour or an hour + 1/2 on March 16th and it could be am or pm.

The MB Homeopathic Association is pleased to bring the documentary film “Just One Drop” to Winnipeg on Monday, February 5th at 6:30 PM at Cinematèque. It is a film about homeopathy and the mechanism of action of high dilution medicines.
Because massage therapists work in conjunction with both the conventional medical system as well as complementary and alternative medicine, understanding CAM therapies improves patient outcomes. Homeopathy is a well-known modality in naturopathic medicine and we are very excited to bring this film to Winnipeg to foster education about this allied practice.
This film offers a window into the history of homeopathy, the mechanism of action of homeopathic remedies, and explores some of the myths and controversy surrounding this medicine.
