Q. Do I need to update my membership profile when I switch work locations?

A. Yes, it is important that MTAM is up to date and able to provide your Liability Insurance company with current information, specifically if you have your contents at your work locations.

Q. Do I need to send my CPR to Blue Cross?  

A. No, MTAM now tracks the CPR on the behalf of the insurers.  Please ensure MTAM has a current copy on file always. 

Q. Does MTAM accept online CPR courses? 

A. No, only in person courses are accepted. 


Q.  I did not attend a course I signed up for, do I still have to pay?

A. Yes: 

MTAM Education Centre has limited seating. It is important for all registrants to let us know well in advance if they cannot make an event so colleagues on the waiting list have an option to attend in your absence. A full refund will be given to anyone cancelling 7 or more days before a course. A 50% refund will apply to any cancellation between 3 and 6 days before a course. Cancellations made WITHIN 72 hours or no shows will not be refunded. (Consideration will always be given to emergency situations). 


Q.  Do you keep my credit card on file?

A. No. MTAM follows the PCI Security Standards Council and in Canada, credit card numbers should not be kept on file as a general practice.
