Join Denise Drisdelle BA, RMT for this 4-day, June 16th - 19th, classroom course that covers the original Dr. Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) strokes and their application to each body part, including the neck, face, arms, legs, nape, back, buttocks, chest and abdomen. These techniques can be applied to many conditions, for example, a sprained ankle on day 1 of injury, skin conditions like acne, sinus congestion, digestive issues, acute injuries, MVAs and concussions. Through careful, systematic training of your hands, and thorough training in the scientific basis of lymphology, you will gain all the skills necessary to excel in this work. Learning outcomes for the theoretical portion covers the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system, effects of MLD, connective tissues, lymphedema, edema and contraindications.

Prerequisites
Completion of Vodder level One Theory.

Instructor Bio
After graduation from Massage Therapy, Denise enrolled in the advanced MLD with the Dr. Vodder School. Soon after, She was approached by InspireHealth, an integrative cancer centre run by medical doctors. Since 2008 She has been working as an associate practitioner and does staff education and monthly presentations to the members on how to manage Lymphedema. In 2008 I started as an assistant teacher with the Dr. Vodder School, and in 2012, I became a Certified Teacher at the Basic level. Her patients have taught her to live life to the fullest, appreciate every day, and live in the moment. She is so grateful to have a career where she can continue to learn and grow.

Participant Notes
**Prior to taking this course you will need to complete the Level One Theory. Register for the theory portion directly though the Vodder School. Email Vodder School at info@vodderschool.com to register for the online course. An additional course fee of $150 + GST will apply. Prices subject to change.
