Join Denise Drisdelle BA, RMT for this 4-day, July 12th - 15th 4-day classroom course can be taken after Level 1 is complete. It is designed for those therapists whose primary focus is not patients with lymphedema. There are many applications of MLD, apart from those for patients with edema and in this course, clinical indications for MLD are taught for patients with a functional lymph vessel system. These include whiplash, burns, migraines, tinnitus, CRPS, stroke, supination trauma for the ankle, knee arthroplasty, cruciate ligament repair, adhesive capsulitis and hip pathologies. A practical exam is given at the end of this course and successful completion enables certification in Applied MLD from the Dr. Vodder Academy/School – International.

Instructor Bio
After graduation from Massage Therapy, Denise enrolled in the advanced MLD with the Dr. Vodder School. Soon after, She was approached by InspireHealth, an integrative cancer centre run by medical doctors. Since 2008 She has been working as an associate practitioner and does staff education and monthly presentations to the members on how to manage Lymphedema. In 2008 I started as an assistant teacher with the Dr. Vodder School, and in 2012, I became a Certified Teacher at the Basic level. Her patients have taught her to live life to the fullest, appreciate every day, and live in the moment. She is so grateful to have a career where she can continue to learn and grow.

Due to significant pre-planning and expenses incurred prior to the course, no refunds will be given for cancellations from 1 month prior to the course start date. Emergency situations will always be considered. Please note, last minute emergency cancellations are subject to a 10% administration fee on the total cost of the course.
