Join MTAM's Education and Practice Advisor to discuss the implications of The Personal Health and Information Act (PHIA) from a massage therapy perspective. In this webinar, the basic components of PHIA will be reviewed and we will provide practical tips on how to ensure that your practice is PHIA compliant.

Instructor Bio
Shelly Bauer is the Education and Practice coordinator at the MTAM. She has a BA(Hons) from the University of Winnipeg and a graduate of Evolve College (MTCM). She has worked in a variety of practice settings, including been a clinic owner with 2 massage therapy clinics in Winnipeg. Currently she runs a small home based business. She has also been a massage therapy instructor, done program and curriculum development and coordinated an student outreach program. Shelly also served on the MTAM board for several terms before joining the team in 2021.
