You don't need to become an HR expert but if you're an employer, you do need to understand the responsibilities that come with managing people.

Instructor Bio
Lisa Goss brings more than 25 years of senior leadership and human resources experience across health care and the nonprofit sector. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for building and leading multidisciplinary teams, developing workplace policies and HR systems, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, workplace investigations, labour relations and organizational change. Lisa has established and managed primary care clinics and multidisciplinary health-care teams and understands the practical realities of managing people within busy health-care environments. Her approach to HR focuses on creating clear expectations, consistent processes, good documentation and healthy workplaces while helping employers understand and manage their responsibilities.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given to anyone cancelling 5 or more days before the course start date. A 50% refund will apply to any cancellation between 3 and 5 days before a course. Cancellations made WITHIN 72 hours or no shows will not be refunded. Consideration will always be given to extenuating circumstances.
