Session Overview:

Finding the right people is one of the biggest challenges facing employers. But successful recruitment isn't simply about filling an empty position—it's about finding the right people, setting them up for success, and creating a workplace where they want to stay.

This practical session will take clinic owners through the recruitment journey, from identifying what you actually need and attracting strong candidates to interviewing, selecting and onboarding new team members.

We'll also look beyond recruitment to explore why good employees stay, why they leave, and what employers can do to strengthen retention. Participants will consider the role that leadership, communication, workplace culture, expectations, recognition and employee experience play in building a stable and engaged team.

Designed with small clinics and health-care practices in mind, the session will focus on realistic strategies that can be implemented without having a dedicated HR department.

Topics We’ll Explore:
  • Identifying your staffing needs before you recruit
  • Creating clear and realistic job descriptions and postings
  • Where and how to find candidates
  • Screening applications efficiently
