Session Overview:
What are you permitted to do as an RMT? What are you competent to do? And where do professional boundaries fit in?
As massage therapy moves toward regulation in Manitoba, understanding the relationship between scope of practice, standards of practice, individual competence and professional boundaries becomes increasingly important.
This informal Fireside Chat will explore these concepts in plain language and consider how they show up in everyday massage therapy practice. We'll also discuss how professional expectations help protect clients, practitioners and the integrity of the profession.
The session will include time for member questions and open discussion.
