Land & Water Acknowledgement

The Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba acknowledges that our office is located on Treaty 1 territory, the original lands of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dené Peoples, and on the homeland of the Red River Métis. Our water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation on Treaty 3 territory.

We respect the treaties made on this land and acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and present. We dedicate ourselves to authentic alliances with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and cooperation.
