Please be advised that there is a fee of $52.50 ($50.00 plus $2.50 GST) to submit a course for evaluation. Approved courses will expire after 2 years and require renewal. One submission per course is required. After the 2-year approval period has expired, course instructors and facilitators can apply for one 2-year renewal so long as all renewal requirements have been met. After a course renewal has expired, the MTAM requires that the full course be re-evaluated by the Professional Development Committee for each course. There is no fee for MTAM Practicing Members and Affinity Partners.

The MTAM will only accept complete submissions for each course to be reviewed by the Professional Development Committee. Refunds are not provided for any course that may be turned down.

Courses that fall outside of Manitoba scope of practice will not be approved. Scope of practice is "the assessment of the musculoskeletal system of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction, injury and pain by manipulation, mobilization and other manual methods to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, relieve pain or promote health."

Please submit the application fee by Interac e-Transfer to accounting@mtam.mb.ca. Courses will not be assessed until the course fee has been received.
