Join this two-day, 12 CEU approved workshop which introduces participants to Blocklogic, a practical approach to myofascial release using a cork therapy block. This course combines theory and guided hands-on practice for effective learning and application. Participants will gain a comprehensive working knowledge of fascial anatomy, its impact on movement, posture, and pain. Learn to identify fascial restrictions , and explore how cork therapy blocks can be used as a powerful tool to facilitate targeted MFR techniques. Shelly Rhoades, RMT, is the founder of BodyLogic Massage Therapy Clinic (est. 1996) and the creator of BlockLogic. A graduate of Wellington College of Massage Therapy, she brings nearly 30 years of expertise in myofascial release, musculoskeletal assessment, cupping, taping, stretch therapy, and exercise rehabilitation. Shelly’s leadership and commitment to raising professional standards were recognized with the 2017 Merit Award from the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba, she still continues to mentor therapists. In 2013, while co-founding a yoga studio, Shelly discovered the therapeutic potential of cork therapy blocks for addressing musculoskeletal imbalances. After refining the approach in her clinical practice and witnessing powerful client results, she developed BlockLogic—a hands-on course that blends therapeutic applications with self-care strategies. Shelly is passionate about equipping massage therapists with practical tools that improve client outcomes.
All course cancellations are subject to $50 administrative fee. All cancellations between 1 month and three weeks of course date will receive a 75% refund. All cancellations between three weeks and two weeks receive 50% refund. All cancellations two weeks up until course date are not eligible for refund as the spot has already been held for you and notice is too short. You may transfer your registration fee to another course date.
