Join us for a 90-minute webinar focused on how to recognize and compassionately speak with clients who may be experiencing perimenopause or menopause. We’ll explore how fluctuating hormone levels can impact the musculoskeletal system, contribute to inflammation, and present with symptoms such as joint pain, fatigue, and decreased tissue resilience. Learn how to identify potential signs and open up supportive, informed conversations—while guiding clients toward appropriate medical follow-up with their doctor.

Instructor Bio
Anna has been an RMT since 2020 and runs a small business out of Studio 26 Yoga in Fort Rouge. She loves how a good massage makes her feel, she loves learning about how the body works and responds to stimuli, and she loves sharing that with others. She found that a lot of clients would seek out a “why” or a “root cause” of their pain or problem. Especially when there wasn’t an obvious acute injury or past injury to point to. They were also interested in understanding the “why” of massage therapy, how it works, or “why” different techniques are being used. She used to struggle to educate clients and had a hard time explaining the “why” of massage therapy without feeling like I was using outdated information. That led Anna to become involved in MTAM’s research committee, where she could learn more about the “why” based on current evidence, get excited about client education, using it as a tool in her massage treatments, and experience better outcomes with clients.
