Updating your referral settings

The new Find an RMT search is now active on the MTAM website. Whether your books are currently open to accept new clients or not there are many reasons why you should add or update your free listing. Both insurers and your clients use the MTAM website to verify membership, practice location and contact information. By opting into the Find an RMT search you can always be found if you change or add practice locations, begin accepting new clients or want to be found based on your unique areas of professional focus. If you run a home-based practice you can choose not to display your home address and only include your postal code. This will indicate only the general area of the city/province you are located and any other contact information you choose to include. Mobile practitioners will also only be asked for a postal code to indicate the general area of their primary office location. If you are not currently accepting new clients you may still want to keep a wait list. By opting into the Find an RMT search you give potential new clients an opportunity to be added to your wait list - useful for helping fill last minute openings and slow downs throughout the year. For those who only want to have only their name listed for insurer verification purposes, members will be advised by email when that feature becomes available.
